Change Is In the Air

In the last 24 hours, I have:

• actually taken a good picutre (I’m not usually very photogenic)

• been accused… no, mistaken for being a classmate of my students by one of their moms (that shaved a good 15 years off of my age, until she found out I was the teacher!)
• discovered that I’ve lost about 15 lbs since Christmas (I had no idea)

AND

• I walked into the teacher’s office today and sitting on my desk was gold! Well, not really, but it might as well have been. There was a “Have a Great Day” note and a beautiful can of Dr Pepper! It’s so hard to find here… often not possible, but one of my student/friends knew I loved it and found it and brought such a huge smile to my face!

I’d call that a good day!
